UCSD Park Committee
Purpose:
The 1989 UCSD Revised Long Range Development Plan and the UCSD Master Plan have designated a campus wide Park comprising the campus' unique vegetation and land features. To insure preservation of these resources, the UCSD Park Committee shall act as a subcommittee to the Campus Community Planning Committee (C/CPC). The Park Committee shall monitor campus actions that may affect the Park and perform the following functions:
1. Act as the Planning Advisory Committee for Park related planning studies;
2. Review projects or plans which might affect the Park (e.g. vis-a-vis grading or drainage) and advise C/CPC accordingly; and
3. Evaluate and advise C/CPC regarding the potential effects of any development proposed to occur in the Park.
