Personal Statement

As President, I will work to make a tangible difference in your everyday college experience. I want to reach out directly to all of you and react to your needs, all while trying to create a cohesive and smart A.S. Council that will work for you. In this time more than any, it is necessary that we work together to form a stronger representative government. The issues that we face this year as students are numerous. The University has its tightest budget ever, and we have seen the affordability of our institution decrease every year. I will ensure that you have a voice in the decision making process, be it here at UC San Diego, or with the UC Regents. You are a part of the Associated Students, and the Associated Students Council is your voice.
