Personal Statement

As AVP of College Affairs, I will work to promote the college system and college councils to strengthen connections among the six colleges and the greater university. As the campus has grown, many campus resources have become centralized and the colleges are more and more overlooked. The unique six-college system at UCSD is an amazing way for students to feel like they are part of a closer community than our entire campus of over 20,000 undergraduates. I want the college system to be something that all students, staff, and faculty at UCSD can appreciate and take pride in.
