Personal Statement

As VP External Affairs, I strive towards the goal of making higher education accessible and affordable for all students. Our office works towards outreach, recruitment and the investment of all students through campaigns and conferences that advocate for access and affordability through grassroots organizing and legislative efforts. We continue to build coalitions with the ten UC campuses through the University of California Student Association, which strives to advocate, educate, and organize to build student power in the University of California and throughout the state. Our office works to build student power and hold key decision-makers accountable.
