Personal Statement

My first goal as a senator is to remind students that A.S. works for them. In my mind, the most effective ways to achieve this are 1) increasing A.S. visibility on campus through face-to-face interaction and events planning, and 2) creating a variety of open forums where students can feel comfortable expressing their ideas and opinions about how to improve student life in a way that is convenient and easily accessible for them. If you've EVER had an idea about how to improve student life, I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO CONTACT ME, by email or by phone. I will try to make myself available at most times of the day, and I will never turn down any request to meet or talk with a student about how they feel A.S. should be run. Your input is fundamental to the work of student government, and that will be the policy of A.S. this year.
