As AVP Academic Affairs, I represent the students to the University administration, faculty, and academic senate on all areas of academic policy. Additionally, my office administers "Dine With a Prof," a program that allows you to have a free lunch or coffee with a professor at the Faculty Club or Perks, and A.S. Grants, a program that awards thirty to forty grants annually to undergraduates pursuing research projects. If you have a question or an idea about how the academics of this school should look, maybe a new major to propose, let's get in touch!

As AVP College Affairs, I work to make our motto, “six colleges, one great university”, a reality. I plan to bring college councils into constant communication and to sponsor several college-based initiatives. That way, the councils will be empowered to create a unified front on student issues and to collaborate between colleges to bring more frequent and larger-scale events for students across campus. But most importantly, I plan to work with YOU. Which means that if you have an event, a plan, or just need some people-power to make one of your dreams become a reality - CONTACT ME! I'd love to help you get in contact with our seven different councils so that you can achieve anything you feel passionately about! So get ready for a fun-filled year, because I promise that our university is going to be united to better serve your needs and desires! I hope you’re prepared! I know I am!

As AVP of Student Advocacy, I work with students who need assistance in resolving matters within UCSD. Along with a team of student advocates, I advise and represent individual students who have been accused of academic and non-academic misconduct or who need help with navigating the UCSD administration. My office is also dedicated to informing students of their rights and making sure that the interest of students is represented in policy changes. In doing this, my office works closely with many groups, including ASUCSD, College Councils, the Office of Academic Integrity, Student Legal Services and the Office of Student Conduct.
