As AVP Local Affairs, I work to increase community outreach by initiating programs that address political, social, indigenous, and economic issues within UCSD and the greater San Diego area. By maintaining UCSD’s Student Lobby Corps chapter, I ensure that students have the ability to voice their opinions to San Diego City Council, state representatives, and the UC Regents. My office concerns itself with increasing accessibility to UCSD, developing sustainability initiative, and facilitating communication between students, administration and local legislators.
