Do you approve an increase in the Sixth College student activity fee by $2.00 per student per quarter effective Fall Quarter of 2009 to support Sixth College programming, events, registered student organizations, and the activities of the Sixth College Student Council?

29% ($0.58) of this fee increase will return to UCSD to help meet the financial aid needs of undergraduate students.

The current Sixth College student activity fee is $8.00 per student per quarter. Neither the increased nor existing fee will be assessed during summer sessions.

If this fee referendum is approved and implemented, the Sixth College student activity fee will be $10.00 per student per quarter effective Fall Quarter of 2009. The entire Sixth College student activity fee will be adjusted annually according to the California Consumer Price Index (CPI) starting in Fall Quarter of 2010. In addition, no referendum that would increase the Sixth College student activity fee will be proposed before Fall Quarter of 2012.
