ASCE Presents: The Whitest Kids You Know [PC Ballroom W | 7pm]

Get ready for a hilarious time this Spring with the sensational comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know.

The infamous American comedy troupe, The Whitest Kids U’ Know, is coming to UCSD. From their early start in comedy venues to their featured television series on IFC, they’ve become an iconic sketch comedy group to comedy lovers everywhere. According to an IFC interview, Trevor Moore says that the group's name originated during a freestyle rapping session on a subway, when one of their friends said, "You guys are the whitest kids I know."

They began in 2000 when Trevor Moore, a young comedian from Parkersburg, West Virginia, transferred to New York's School of Visual Arts film program. After making the rounds at local New York City comedy clubs, he eventually met fellow SVA film student Sam Brown from Massachusetts and SVA Graphic Design student/actor Zach Cregger, from Arlington, Virginia. In late 2001, Timmy Williams moved to New York to attend film school. He met with Zach, Trevor, and Sam in and joined the Whitest Kids U’ Know shortly thereafter. While working on an independent film Darren Trumeter met Zach Cregger and was invited to a “Whitest Kids” show. Since then he’s been a member of the troupe for almost 3 years. This cast of crazy characters are hitting the road for their 2013 tour and will be making a stop at the Price Center Ballroom West.

ASCE Presents: Pwnage N' Pints [Home Plate | 4pm]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament with Free-Play Stations, including Just Dance 4 (presented by Ubisoft) and Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (presented by UCSD's Fight Club).

Yes, you understand correctly-- ASCE is bringing to Home Plate: A SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL TOURNAMENT! Why play in your apartment with the same group of friends, when you could brawl with the Best in the West? There is no entry fee, only an opportunity to win some sweet prizes and pwn some noobs. Stay tuned for any food or drink specials!

Prizes include a Just Dance 4 "swag bag," a selection of recently-released games from Ubisoft, and gift cards to the UCSD Bookstore and Home Plate Café.
