Summary

Mostly worked on All Council Retreat while setting up the foundation to begin work on other events after Retreat. My team and office are amazing and if I ask them to do something they do it quickly, effectively, and efficiently. My office met Friday to discuss what they will be doing at Retreat and to brainstorm some final ideas and details.

What Did You Do This Week

Changed my budget for All Council Retreat because there were problems with the Business Office. Took 3 days but finally got the budget worked out. Worked with Event Coordinators to get power and audio for the event.

What Did You Do This Week

We had All Council Retreat! Many things went wrong and overall the event struggled, feedback has been poor due to location (outside), food, and disorganization. These are my fault and do dilligence will be taken to avoid these problems in the future. I have also started writing a debrief for my successor on what I learned and what I would recommend avoiding.

Other news, I had a meeting with Melina and Jenny (SFAC) about a "Know Your Fees" event, it will be held on April 15th on Library walk the exact time TBD. I have also worked with Meri and Jessica (Athletics Marketing) about a "sky box" event, we have narrowed down a date to February 21st for a volleyball game but my office contribution might be severly limited and it might not be the same event as originally planned do to the unavailability of the space. Peer Meet Up event with the Directors of Programming or other similar position from each Council is in the development stage with a set time to be made this weekend.
