Hi everyone!! My name is Nicole Thompson (she/her/hers) and I am a second year transfer in Eleanor Roosevelt College. I am majoring in Biochemistry/Chemistry and minoring in Business.This year I am serving as your Roosevelt Senator and sit on the AS Finance Committee. As an ERC senator I am a liaison between AS and ERC Student Council and relay information between both bodies. Senator Project Updates

Meet with advisor, reached out to Outdoor Lighting Safety Group to inquire about updating lights along Scholars Drive in ERC and Seventh College. Have not heard back.

AS Finance Committee

  •  went over AS Offices budget for 2020-2021 year.

External Committee

Attend SCERC GBM

  • Approved budget for Nightmare on Pangea Drive
  • Approved budget for a speaker, speaker will talk on issues such as racism, immigration, sexism, and civic engagement

SENATOR PROJECT UPDATES

Emailed Director of Environment, Health and Safety regarding the no response from Outdoor Lighting Safety Comittee and updating the streetlights along North Scholars Drive. Was referred to the General Safety Manager and Campus Electrical Shop Superintendent on this project. Waiting to hear back from the Campus Electrical Shop Superintendent.

INTERNAL COMMITTEE

AS Finance Committee

  •  went over AS 2020-2021 Annual Budget.

EXTERNAL COMMITTEE

Attend SCERC GBM

  • Discussed language changes to the housing representatives, requiring them to go to HDH open forums
  • Discussed renaming the Wellbieng Cluster Student Advisory Comittee (WCSAB) Representative to Health and Wellness Represenative
    • They would attend Student Mental Health Advisory Committee (SMHAC) meetings
  • Discussed reordering SCERC's Supporting Documents to move the descriptions of external postions after/before the internal postions
