Overview

The Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) leads all personnel management and organizational development efforts within the Association, ensuring that members are supported, accountable, and positioned to succeed. This role is responsible for creating a fair, transparent, and effective environment for recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and professional growth.

The CPO develops and implements standardized hiring procedures across the Association, helping ensure equitable and consistent practices for all positions. They also oversee onboarding and professional development initiatives, while collaborating with other Executive Officers to expand outreach and recruitment opportunities.

In addition, the CPO establishes and manages performance standards and evaluation systems, tracks member participation and accountability, and maintains records to promote transparency and ethical conduct. Through these efforts, the Chief Personnel Officer helps foster a structured, inclusive, and high-performing organization that effectively serves the student body.
